Anti-sebum adjuvant treatment

Hyper secretion of sebaceous glands and sweat glands is quite widespread. A correct diagnosis can be made by analysing-with a simple magnifying glass-the infundibulum where the hair emerges and the first outer section of the stem. In the presence of sebum the exit point of the hair will be accompanied by a more or less gelatinous mass consisting of lipid material. The absence of this mass and the presence of small droplets on the stem and on the scalp, is-on the other hand-a sign of an excessive production of sweat glands, accompanied by a slightly perceptible scent of ammonia. A suitable normalization of the secretions will lighten heavy hair or hair that has difficulty holding a style. It should also be remembered that excessive sebaceous secretions can lead to the formation of dandruff and so worsen the symptoms.
